Purchasing responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

-Create P.Os from material work orders

-Issue POs to suppliers & track confirmations

-Track product lead times, ETAs & Enter all data in system

-Replenish stock items & Review inventory numbers

-Create and enter new products in system

-Prioritize & track all items for upcoming jobs

-Weekly inventory checks & Quarterly inventory count of all inventory

-Train all new sales staff to use the work order system

-Upkeep all pricing in the system and retail books twice a year and as the new price lists come in

-Upkeep the system with all discontinued items

-Enter all plans for jobs in plangrid

-Confirm that all products are received in a timely manner by the warehouse from expected arrivals.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in a similar role

Overall

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Ability to use various digital tools and technologies

Working knowledge of Surfagest is an asset

Experience in a construction company or retail setting is an asset

Pay: $47,500.00-$57,500.00 per year
