This position provides strategic direction for the Municipal Operations and Infrastructure division, which includes Public Works (Parks and Transportation), Utilities PHUI contract management, Environmental Services, Fleet and Facilities, and the Wetaskiwin Airport. The General Manager develops and implements short-and-long-term operational and capital plans aligned with the City?s overall strategic goals, provides expert technical advice to City Management, Council and other departments, and leads Managers and employees within the division to ensure effective and efficient service delivery. Why Work With Us? Leads the development and implementation of short-and long-range plans and projects within areas of responsibility, gathers and analyses data to support studies, reports and recommendations, and coordinates departmental activities with other departments and external agencies as required.
