*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Motel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our motel. Our Motel is located in Radium Hot Springs, BC. We have staff accommodation on site. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest services. As the Motel Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of hospitality.
*Duties*
* Manage front desk operations, including guest check-ins/outs and reservations
* Deliver excellent customer service and address guest needs promptly
* Oversee housekeeping and ensure rooms and facilities are kept clean and presentable
* Handle laundry and general upkeep of the motel property
* Assist the owner in all areas of motel operations and administration
* Monitor supplies and maintain inventory
* Oversee daily operations of the motel, ensuring smooth functioning and guest satisfaction.
* Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
* Implement effective budgeting strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
* Maintain accurate records of bookings, occupancy rates, and financial transactions.
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
* Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate staff effectively.
* Familiarity with hotel operations, including front desk management and housekeeping coordination.
* Strong phone etiquette skills for effective communication with guests and vendors.
