About the Role

The primary role of the assembler is to fabricate and assemble mechanical components into the final product.
Must have and know hot to use small hand and power tools such as wrenches, drills, and grinders, screwdrivers
Sub-assemblies, sheet metal canopy assembly, mechanical assembly, etc.
Inspect all parts prior and during assembly and follow procedures for non-conforming material
Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts if neccessary
Use of Hand Tool for drilling, torquing, installing
Operate various types of pneumatic/power tool, hand held tools, and torque wrenches
Operate and test assembled products
Unloading products received and loading finished products for delivery
Use forklift to to move the subassemblies or final product around the shop
Organize and clean department at the end of each workday.
Other duties as required.

Requirements:
Previous experience as an assembler is a must
Excellent troubleshooting, and decision making skills
Completion of high school or equivalent education
Experience with all safe practices, procedures, and overall processes associated with manufacturing
Must be able to read a tape measure and perform simple mathematical calculations
Own tools required
First aid and forklift certificates

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
