*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
* Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients as needed.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
* Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
* Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality.
* Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as required.

*Skills*
* Proven experience as a cook in a Italian restaurant or similar food service environment.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices, including proper food handling techniques.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
* Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
* Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members.
* Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring high-quality output.
