*The Opportunity:*
We?re looking for a *dynamic, all-rounder Inside Sales & Solar Solutions Specialist* to join our growing team. In a small business like ours, flexibility is key ? you?ll have the opportunity to wear multiple hats, taking ownership of sales, customer service, and custom solar quoting.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Serve walk-in customers at our Edmonton store, providing product knowledge and system recommendations.
* Generate and nurture sales leads via phone calls, emails, and outreach efforts to both retail and business clients.
* Understand customer requirements and design custom solar system quotes based on their needs.
* Perform all necessary solar calculations (sizing panels, batteries, inverters, charge controllers, etc.).
* Accurately recommend components for off-grid and grid-tied systems.
* Maintain up-to-date product knowledge on all solar and energy storage solutions we offer.
* Work closely with the team to handle general operational tasks as needed (being a small business, everyone pitches in!).
*Qualifications:*
* 2?3 years of experience working in the solar industry or Equivalent Study in Solar or Graduate of a Renewable Energy Program.
* Strong understanding of solar theory, basic electrical theory, and system design.
* Hands-on experience preparing custom quotes for solar installations.
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to clients.
* Comfortable performing both inbound (storefront) and outbound (phone/email) sales.
* Self-motivated, flexible, and willing to contribute to a variety of tasks.
* Knowledge of solar-related products like panels, batteries, inverters, charge controllers, etc.
*Bonus Skills:*
* Experience using CRM or quoting software.
* Familiarity with Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) solar requirements.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
