industrial electrician

*Purpose and Scope*

Cancoil Industrial Electrician is responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of production and facilities equipment in support of manufacturing. This individual will be required to work as part of a multi-skilled team.

*Working Conditions*

? Manufacturing facilities with exposure to loud machinery, varying temperatures, and occasionally working at heights.

? Rotational shifts may be required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

*Duties & Responsibilities *

? Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and control systems in the manufacturing facility.

? Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues on system voltages from 24V to 600V

? Perform regular inspections to ensure all electrical systems comply with safety regulations and company standards.

? Work from electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to identify and address electrical issues.

? Support the programming, configuration, and maintenance of PLCs and automated control systems.

? Assist in the installation and integration of new manufacturing equipment

? Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and electrical system performance utilizing CMMS system.

? Adhere to all workplace safety protocols and promote a culture of safety across the facility.

*Skills *

? Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.

? Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, PLCs, and motor controls.

? Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.

? Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

? Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an industrial setting

? Physical capability to perform tasks involving lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

*Education and Training*

? 2 year Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technician or equivalent

? Minimum of 5 years experience in an industrial environment in a similar capacity

Pay: $36.65 per hour
