HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) mechanic

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Noisy. Cold/refrigerated. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Install and overhaul heating systems. Install equipment in refrigerated trucks used to transport food or medical supplies. Install refrigeration systems. Maintain and repair equipment in refrigerated trucks. Troubleshoot heating systems. Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components. Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices. Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems.
