Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Bathe and shampoo animals. Prepare food and feed animals. Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures. Conduct anals glands treatment. Keep records of animals treated. Assist with inoculation and treatment of animals. Assist animal breeders to handle and nurture animals. Clean animal ears. Maintain and order supplies. Provide flea bath treatments to animals. Clip animal nails. Certificates, licences, memberships, and coursesĀ : Pet first aid course. Pet Grooming Certificate. Veterinary assistant course. Animal specialization: Exotic birds. Hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, etc.. Reptiles. Tropical fish. Screening questions: Are you authorized to work in Canada?. Are you available to start on the date listed in the job posting?.
