Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Graphic design firm. Printing shop. Tasks: Supervise other graphic designers or graphic arts technicians. Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations. Assist in developing storyboards for electronic productions such as multimedia, interactive and digital products and television advertising and productions. Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations in order to meet their communications needs. Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations. Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials. Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials. Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives. Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers. Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements. Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides. Usability testing. Process files and paperwork. Computer and technology knowledge: InDesign. Adobe Suite. Autodesk Maya. MS Office. Social Media. Adobe Illustrator. HTML. XHTML. Adobe Photoshop. MS Windows. Adobe Acrobat Reader. Adobe After Effects. Adobe Lightroom. Adobe XD. Figma. Keynote. Equipment and machinery experience: Scanner. Area of work experience: Marketing.
