*ROLE: OSP Cabling Technician (Start Immediately)*

Responsibilities:
· Fully proficient in interpreting cable plan or job specifications to execute all work assigned safely and in accordance with Superfibre?s health and safety policy.
· Builds and maintains an effective operations organization
· Work outdoors in various conditions to place fibre optic telecommunication cables, micro fibre cables, armored fibre cables.
· Maintain tools and equipment.
· Accurately record and report project progress to the appropriate supervisor and communicate any issues or expected delays.
· Work with underground cable placing equipment (Jetting machine).
· Understand handling principles of fibre optic cables and micro fibre cables.
· Ability to track and manage materials related to work function.
· Other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager
Qualifications:
?2 years of previous experience in a similar role
?Experience working with Jetting equipment, Cable Pulling.
?Ability to meet deadlines by tracking project hours, job progress, and timesheets
?Reliable, dependable, and consistent with jobsite schedule
?Must be detailed oriented and excellent organizational skills
?Good communication skills with the ability to work independently or in a team
?Valid Ontario driver?s license with clean driving record

Pay rate Starts: $20.00 per hour
