*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead our team at Montague Discounters. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a comprehensive understanding of Retail operations. This role requires effective management of daily operations, staff training, and working alongside employees. Being able to prioritize, delegate, and merchadise several pallets of product to store selling area, on a dailey basis.

*Key Responsibilities*

* *Supervise Staff*: Train, manage, and motivate employees to provide excellent customer service and achieve a high level of merchandising skills
* *Inventory Management*: Maintain optimal inventory levels by working with buyers to determine best stock levels. Manager will work with inventory manager to do cycle counts, negative on hands, and other invenetory checks to ensure correct amounts are showing in stock.
* *Sales and Profitability*: Managers will work to ensure Flyers & Promotions are set & signed. Implement pricing procedures and markdowns in accordance with store policy. .
* *Customer Service*: Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, address customer inquiries and complaints, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
* *Financial Management*: Manage and Control costs on such items as wages, damages, shortages, and Theft.
* *Store Operations*: To ensure adequate staffing at all times. Working side by side with staff to receive and merchadise product in store. Maintain a clean, organized and visually appealing store as well as comply with Health & Saftey regulations and Implement all store policies and operating procedures.

*Qualifications*

* *Education*: Experience is what we value.
* *Experience*: Minnimum 3 years experience in retail management or a supervisory role. Preference will be given to those with Discount department store experience and Strong leadership and organizational skills.
* *Skills*: Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, merchandising experience and a customer focused mindset are essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
