Central Zone provides a variety of primary, secondary, long-term care, community health, and other enhanced secondary services.Central Zone is seeking the services of a full-time Radiologist to work at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.Visit the following web site for information on the Community of Grand Falls-Windsor: Grand Falls-Windsor - Perfectly Centered DUTIESPrimary duties include interpreting imaging studies such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and nuclear medicine examinations to provide accurate diagnostic reports. They also perform image-guided procedures, including biopsies, drainages, and injections, using imaging modalities like ultrasound, CT, or fluoroscopy to guide these minimally invasive interventions. Incumbent will collaborate closely with referring physicians, offering consultations on imaging findings and recommendations for further diagnostic or therapeutic steps. Incumbent will also provide on-call and emergency coverage, offering rapid interpretation of urgent studies such as trauma scans, stroke imaging, or chest X-rays for acutely ill patients. QUALIFICATIONS*Eligible for licensure as a Radiologist with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador (CPSNL) Home - CPSNL*Satisfy credentialing requirements of Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services including a satisfactory criminal record check and vulnerable sector check*Medical Degree*Experience is an assetHOURS OF WORK75 hours biweekly plus on call obligationsREMUNERATIONFee for Service as per the MCP payment schedule.
