Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Warehouse. Tasks: Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. Professionalism in customer service. Keep a record of items received and delivered. Prepare, package and restock goods. Load and unload goods. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems. Perform labouring duties in warehouses. Operate forklift. Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents. Organize warehouse and work areas. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. Forklift Operator Certification. Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Type of trucking and equipment: Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles). Transportation/travel experience: Local. Provincial/territorial. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Reliability. Screening questions: Are you authorized to work in Canada?. Do you have experience working in this field?. Do you have the required certifications listed in the job posting?.
