About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative, you are responsible to provide outstanding service to our client's customers by; scheduling deliveries, handling general inquires, addressing concerns/issues, listening to complaints, troubleshooting problems, and communicating necessary information to our delivery crews.
A typical day would include:
* Contacting customers to schedule/reschedule deliveries.
* Communicating information to delivery crews.
* Verifying status of deliveries with drivers and keeping customers updated
* Responding to customer/vendor queries regarding the status of their orders
* Working alongside dispatch to accommodate customer requests
* De-escalating situations by providing workable alternatives that satisfy the customer
* Taking accurate notes of conversations with customers/vendors and keeping our system updated on any and all changes to their order status.
* General data entry: entering customer orders into our delivery system, filling out order completion spreadsheet
Requirements
* At least 18 years of age or older
* Strong computer knowledge and skills
* Ability to calmly provide conflict resolution and navigate frustrated customer situations
* Ability to enter and schedule orders while taking inbound calls.
* Ability to work full-time hours.
* Ability to work in an environment where you must sit, reach, communicate (verbally and electronically), listen with auditory acuity, type, read, multi-task, and concentrate for prolonged periods.
