Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Transport and handle dangerous goods. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks). Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate. Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Bill of lading. Driver logbook. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Maintenance and repair reports. Trip reports. Type of trucking and equipment: Tractor-trailer. Transportation/travel experience: Local. Provincial/territorial. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel for extended periods. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads.
