We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Catering Supervisor to oversee food service operations for our catering events. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves supervising staff, managing food preparation, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

*Duties*

* Supervise and coordinate daily catering operations, ensuring timely and efficient service
* Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
* Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
* Lead, train, and interview team members to maintain high-performance standards
* Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations across all operations
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
* Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with vendors for supplies and equipment
* Enforce restaurant management policies and uphold hospitality excellence during events
* Assist in kitchen setup, breakdown, and clean-up after catering functions

*Skills*

* Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality roles with supervisory responsibilities
* Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety protocols
* Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
* Excellent team management, leadership, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to supervise staff during high-volume events while maintaining quality standards
* Experience interviewing and training new team members in a restaurant or hotel setting
* Knowledge of the food industry trends, restaurant experience, and kitchen operations
* Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor
* Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
* Background in hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required
