*Job Summary*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounts, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our financial processes and will involve working closely with various departments to support overall business objectives.
*Duties*
* Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions and managing accounts payable and receivable.
* Perform payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
* Conduct bank reconciliation to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.
* Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks and Sage, for efficient financial management.
* Prepare account analysis reports to provide insights into financial performance.
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as needed.
* Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial activities.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
* Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and Sage.
* Strong understanding of payroll processes, bank reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
* Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for account analysis.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Knowledge of accounting principles and practices is essential.
* Certified Bookkeeping Designation (CPB)
