*Job Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various hand tools and equipment. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers.

*Responsibilities*
* Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
* Mentor apprentices and maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
* Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues accurately.
* Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed during repairs.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle needs and repair options.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop.
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.

*Requirements*
* Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic
* Strong knowledge in various makes and models.
* A provincially recognized Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate, completed or in process
* Red Seal Certification would be considered an asset
* Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, preferably in a dealership setting.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex automotive issues.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
* Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards clients.
* Welding experience is a plus but not mandatory.
* A valid driver s license is required; additional certifications are advantageous.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
