As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be essential in diagnosing and repairing vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will utilize your core skills in automotive repair, mechanical knowledge, and maintenance to address various issues. Your premium skills in welding and dealership experience will enhance your ability to handle complex repairs. Additionally, your relevant skills in customer service and schematics will help you communicate effectively with clients and understand vehicle systems. *Responsibilities*
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various automotive systems, including engines, brakes, and transmissions.
* Utilize hand and power tools to diagnose and fix mechanical issues efficiently.
* Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair needs and recommendations clearly.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of automotive projects.
* Assist in training junior mechanics and share knowledge of dealership practices and welding techniques when applicable.
