We are currently looking for an Assistant Manager to support our Liquor Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of our well-established store in Slave Lake, Alberta. *Responsibilities:*

* *Support the Liquor Store Manager:* Collaborate with the manager to oversee the store's daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
* *Customer Service Excellence:* Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with inquiries, recommendations, and purchases.
* *Team Leadership:* Assist in supervising and motivating the store team to meet and exceed sales goals and customer service standards.
* *Inventory Management:* Help manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and ensuring accurate stock levels.
* *Sales and Promotion:* Contribute to the development and execution of marketing and promotional strategies to boost sales and attract customers.
* *Compliance:* Ensure the store complies with all relevant regulations and laws governing the sale of alcoholic beverages.
* *Problem Solving:* Address customer concerns and resolve issues effectively and professionally.

*Qualifications:*

* *Experience:* Previous experience in a liquor retail environment is preferred.
* *Leadership Skills:* Strong leadership and communication abilities to assist in managing the store effectively.
* *Customer Focus:* A passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating a positive shopping experience.
* *Inventory Knowledge:* Familiarity with inventory management and purchasing processes.
* *Adaptability: * Ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
* *Tech-Savvy:* Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
* *Regulatory Knowledge:* Familiarity with provincial regulations and laws related to alcohol sales (an asset).

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
