*Position: *

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive *Administrative Assistant*. The Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative support in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the office. This position requires strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

The position is full-time (35hrs/week) working from the West Edmonton Office. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday.

*Responsibilities:*

? Provide general administrative assistance to the team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.

? Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events. Ensure proper preparation and logistics for scheduled activities.

? Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle inquiries from external stakeholders.

? Prepare, file, and organize documents, both digitally and physically. Ensure that all records are correctly stored and easy to access.

? Maintain and update databases, prepare reports, and handle data entry tasks as the team requires.

? Assist with travel arrangements for staff, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation.

? Work with other team members to coordinate office events, meetings, and team-building activities.

? Maintain a clean and organized office environment, ensuring that supplies are stocked, equipment is functioning, and the workspace is welcoming.

*Qualifications:*

? High school diploma or equivalent.

? At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role or similar position.

? Strong organizational and time-management skills.

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Workspace, and Zoom, as well as familiarity with office management software.

? Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

? Attention to detail and accuracy.

? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

? Must pass a Police Security Check

*Preferred Qualifications: *

? Post-secondary in Office Administration or a related field is preferred.

? Possess a valid Class ?5? Alberta driver?s license and reliable vehicle.

? Experience in non-profit, Indigenous, and/or government organizations is considered an asset.
