Our work focuses primarily on infrastructure development and renewal services, including Asphalt, Concrete, Paving, Quarry, Road Building, General Construction, Professional Engineering Design, Bridge Construction, Landfill Development, and Trucking.

As one of Cape Breton?s most dynamic companies, Northern Contracting Ltd is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Controller to join our team.

*Responsibilities:*

* Full cycle Accounts Payable processing (coding, approvals, reconciliations)
* Researching and resolving accounts payable or accounts receivable issues with customers or vendors
* Provide customer invoices, statements, and reminders
* Preparing ad hoc reporting to the Finance and Operations managers
* Fielding vendor inquiries and maintaining relationships
* General office administration
* Other ad hoc duties and projects as necessary

*Qualifications:*

3+ years? experience in accounting;
Proficient skills in the Microsoft Office Suite and various accounting software;
Post secondary accounting degree/diploma preferred or qualified work experience;
